Your Rights
- Receive considerate, respectful and dignified care regardless of age, gender, religion, caste or financial status.
- Know the names and roles of the doctors and staff treating you.
- Receive information about your diagnosis, treatment, risks and expected outcome in a language you understand.
- Give or refuse informed consent for procedures, and seek a second opinion.
- Privacy and confidentiality of your medical records and personal information.
- Access emergency care without delay, and receive a clear estimate of charges.
- Raise a grievance and receive a response from the Grievance Redressal Officer.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate information about your health, medicines and allergies.
- Follow the treatment plan and inform staff if you cannot.
- Treat staff, fellow patients and hospital property with respect.
- Follow hospital rules on visitors, silence, smoking and infection control.
- Meet financial obligations promptly and keep all appointments.
